VIP Electronic cigarette – really made for VIPs?

VIP Electronic Cigarettes are another UK brand. Also they have a retail presence. Maybe you have seen retail vendors in a shopping centre. This is where I first saw this brand and decided to test it.
So for this VIP Electronic cigarette review  I purchased a standard starter kit which was priced at £17.50.

Packaging/Shipping

VIP Electronic Cigarette standard starter Kit

The standard VIP kit comes with a cigarette style box which contains following items:

  • 1 Battery
  • 2 cartomisers with tobacco flavour (1x16mg and 1x24mg)
  • 1 electronic cigarette
  • 1 USB chargervip electronic cigarette review

Battery/Responsiveness

VIP E-cig battery is designed to look like a real tobacco cigarette.  However, the feeling of quality isn’t as high as it was while using E-Lites or Green Smoke E-cigarettes. However, the good news is that it does not affect the actual performance of the battery. You still can have a nice and smooth draw.

Also the switch was really qualitative. Therefore, the battery didn’t activate with sudden and unplanned movements.  However, another thing I don’t really like about this E-cigarette is the length of battery life. In the beginning, it wasn’t so bad but after few weeks, my battery was running out of power way too fast.

Because of this, charging took a long time and I didn’t have enough time to enjoy my E-cigarette. The standard VIP kit provides you with only one battery so you definitely should buy a spare battery if you want to buy this kit.

Vapour/Flavour

vip cartridgesWith this package, I also received 2 tobacco flavoured cartomisers with different nicotine strengths – 16mg and 24mg. Every E-cigarette is different when it comes to flavour. Personally, the VIP tobacco flavour wasn’t for me. I have had better cartomisers.  However, it wasn’t the best e-cig I have tried, but it gave quite smooth vape with a nice throat hit.

I was a bit surprised, but the vapour volume for this E-cigarette was really good. It was better than most e-cigs.

Also I wasn’t very satisfied with cartomisers. On their website, they stated that 1 cartomiser was equal to 40 cigarettes. For me, it was like 20-25. But again, this really depends on each smoker individually.

Returns/Warranty

VIP Electronic Cigarettes offer a refund for product that is returned to them in unused, original condition.  They also offer a warranty for non consumable items.

I recommend you to check their website for full and up-to date info!

Customer Service

You can contact with them by email or phone so no problems with customer service.

Discount Codes

They have different discounts available on their Facebook page.

Overall –  if you don’t want to read it all.

There are good and not so good things about this VIP e-cigarette. The draw was very smooth and the vapour volume was excellent.  However, the flavour wasn’t for me. Also I wasn’t satisfied with the battery life.

Maybe the quality for this product isn’t so good because this is a cheap option, although I think that there are better options available for beginners.

  1. I purchased e cigerettes fromVIP and they never arrived. I emailed them to enquire several times and received a variety of excuses, from telling me they were in the post to giving me their number and asking me to call. As I had already lost money with the company I told them I did not wish to phone. The end result was they stopped replying to my emails and never sent the e cigarettes. I would avoid this company at all costs.

  2. Had a problem with the life of the VIP atomizer, complained to VIP via email and phone, got no satisfaction and thats after using the VIP product for the past year! I will not be using their product again.

  3. I hardly comment, but after reading a lot of remarks on this page VIP Electronic cigarette review – E-cigarette UK.
I actually do have a couple of questions for you if you tend not
to mind. Is it simply me or do a few of the responses look like
they are coming from brain dead visitors? :-P And, if you are
writing on additional sites, I’d like to follow you.
